CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We are excited to invite abstract submissions for the upcoming Australian Tactical Medical Conference (ATMC) which will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th October 2025. 

This is your opportunity to share your research, ideas, and expertise with a diverse audience of professionals, academics, and thought leaders. Abstracts will be considered for oral presentations in the main conference program.

  • Submission Deadline: Sunday 27th April 2025

  • Notification of Acceptance: Friday 6th June 2025

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

  1. The abstract submission deadline is midnight AEDT on Sunday 27th April 2025.

  2. All abstracts must be submitted via email info@atma.net.au. Faxed, posted, and abstracts submitted via any other email address will NOT be considered.

  3. Abstracts must be in English language only.

  4. Maximum 400 words/3050 characters with NO pictures, graphs, tables or images.

  5. References are excluded from the word limit but must be restricted to THREE ONLY.

  6. The decisions of the selection committee are final.

  7. Abstract submitters are welcome to submit a 5-minute video in lieu of a written abstract submission.

  8. Successful applicants for the program will be notified by COB Friday 6th June 2025.

  9. Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register to the Australian Tactical Medical Conference by Sunday 29th June 2025.

  10. Presenters of accepted abstracts will receive complimentary conference registration, tickets can be purchased to the social functions. 

  11. All presentations at the Conference will be via the Conference laptops. No personal laptops will be used for presentations. All presentations will need to be uploaded at the Speaker’s Prep area. Details will be forwarded to you with acceptance of your abstract.

  12. Presentations will be approximately 25 - 30 minutes. Confirmation of time will be provided with the program. 

  13. Any conflict of interest/sponsorship must be declared at the commencement of any presentation.

  14. Failure to follow the instructions for submission of abstracts may result in rejection of your document.

 

By submitting an abstract, you agree that the Copyright of the abstract(s) is assigned to ATMA only for the purpose of publication in the Conference Abstract Book and (if applicable) media releases/reports.

 

NO changes to any abstracts will be accepted after midnight AEDT on Sunday 27th April 2025.
